The Hill Community Center is a student-focused space in San Bernardino built to remove everyday barriers, support learning, and open doors to future opportunity.
Powered by the ROGO Impact Initiative in partnership with Sandals Church and community leaders, The Hill supports the whole student — practically, academically, and socially.
Every space inside The Hill is designed to help young people feel stable today while building skills and confidence for tomorrow.
Laundry Facility & Community Lounge — Stability with Dignity
Basic needs should never stand in the way of learning. The Hill offers free laundry access — including washers, dryers, and supplies — in a welcoming, respectful environment.
The community lounge provides a safe place for students to relax, connect with friends, and spend time with supportive adults. These consistent spaces help students feel grounded and supported.

Stop by anytime during open hours. Machines are available first-come, first-served.

Middle & High School Students
Wednesday: 3pm–9pm
Sunday: 8am–1pm
Young Adults (Ages 18–30)
Sunday: 3pm–8pm
Monday: 1pm–9pm
STEAM Lab — Learn by Doing
The STEAM Lab gives students hands-on access to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through guided activities and interactive tools.
This space encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Students explore real-world skills that build confidence and introduce future learning and career pathways.
Workshops and programming rotate throughout the year.
Study Lab — Focused Academic Support
The Study Lab is a quiet, structured space where students can complete homework, receive tutoring support, and build strong study habits.This environment reinforces classroom learning and helps students grow academically with consistency and confidence.
